Senior Madness!

I love shooting seniors! We had 2 this week. Expect to see more of Cassie, we’re shooting outdoors this weekend.

Little did I know during either session, these two are dating. They’re a very cute couple! Keep checking back to see more photos. PLUS, we’ll be running a special on Christmas cards soon!

Copemish wedding!

We recently (ok, not too recently…I’ve been so busy!!) had the privilage of shooting a great couple out in Copemish. The wedding was beautiful, the reception was a LOT of fun and the people couldn’t have been more friendly! Here are a few from Krista and Jason’s beautiful day.

Please let us know what you think! Favorites? Not-so-favorites? We love your feedback! Also, keep an eye open for some more new posts. No really, I have a few more sessions that I need to get posted and there’s a Senior Special on the way!

Old Mission Peninsula + Gorgeous Couple = BEAUTIFUL Wedding Photos!

I’m still trying to recover from the excitement of shooting at the amazing Grey Hare Inn. The grounds are breathtaking and the B&B itself is beautifully furnished and so comfortable. Shooting up there was worth the drive for sure! Deb and I had a wonderful time and our couple was so fun to work with. The small number of guests in attendence gave us a great opportunity to get to know almost everyone! I think I speak for both of us when I say I could have stayed there all night! Here are a few samples of what we got.

Feel free to comment away! We love your feedback!

Sunset beauty.

I snapped this one on the way home the other night. I think it’s a little eerie (like our recent storms) and a little reassuring, with the rays of light near the horizon. I hope you enjoy it!

I hope everyone’s enjoying their summer. Keep an eye out here because we’re planning a blog special for 2009 seniors very soon!

Fi-nal-LY!

I know it’s been over a week, but converting and editing and numbering gets to be a LOT! Thanks to Jess’ hard work and dedication, the pictures from our May 31 wedding are finished. Now allĀ  that remains is printing and delivery. I think the bride and groom will be thrilled! Here are a few samples!

And here’s one of the MANY reasons we love the newest addition to our Photo One Wedding Photography team: Deb Thompson…

Let us know what you think!

Here are a couple from a first communion session I did a few weeks back. What a beautiful little girl. She was very well mannered, and we had a great time!

I hope you have a GREAT weekend. Me? I’ll be shooting a wedding on Saturday, so look for some pictures from that here on Monday!

A couple from the archives…

Well, we don’t have many studios this week so I decided to post this one from a couple weeks ago. This guy and his darling girlfriend were a pleasure to have in the studio. We had some good laughs. I really love both of these shots, and can’t decide which i like best. The one with the bright white background is just great with the big grin, but the gray one is more subdued and I love his expression. These were two of the first shots and you can tell he was already really comfortable. Anyway, you decide! Which of these do YOU like best? Leave a comment and let me know what you think!

And, in closing, here’s a personal one to make you go “awwww!”

Monday-ish Tuesday.

I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe holiday weekend! The Art Walk went wonderfully, and the weather for the rest of the weekend couldn’t have been better. We didn’t have anything going on in the studio, of course, so I’m going to post a couple of my personal pictures from the weekend.

I was going for a real “it’s finally SUMMER” feel. I hope these images make you feel as summery as I felt taking them!

Happy Summer!!
